< MISS MAY I >
The sound and fury of MISS MAY I is deeply embedded in the hearts and minds of a legion of fans. These are people from different backgrounds, of different ages, with diverse life experience, who all come together and connect with MISS MAY I’s combination of brutal proficiency and impassioned delivery. The five-piece powerhouse, from the fertile metalcore grounds of America’s heartland, have become an integral part of the worldwide heavy music community, transcending boundaries and limitations, galvanizing crowds, and energizing each person they encounter.
< FIT FOR A KING >
Musically Absolute Punk noted the bands ability in “churning out high quality, apocalyptic 3- minute breakdowns.” This is a somewhat simplified summation of their sound, as in addition to the metallic assault, there are melodic moments, grave atmospherics and messages of faith throughout.
< VOID OF VISION >
“Void Of Vision’s non-stop ride has shown no sign of slowing down since their burst onto the touring circuit 3 years ago. The release of their debut album ‘Children Of Chrome’ has seen Australia’s favourite jersey clad crew take their own brand of Metalcore to new heights. After taking the album out on their very own headline tour, 2017 has shown them their first international tour to Europe/UK alongside Chelsea Grin (US), an entirely sold out Australian tour with I Prevail (US) and then Deez Nuts in August and the band’s debut to some of the country’s biggest Arenas, opening up for the almighty Body Count. Most bands would be happy to see the year out taking a short break but Void Of Vision are back on the road to headline a slew of headline shows this November. Fresh from the studio they will also be showcasing some killer new material from various projects they have coming up.
< CURRENTS >
Sometimes time is the missing ingredient needed in order for an idea to come to fruition. Such is the case with rising metalcore/djent band Currents, who after forming in 2011 spent the next few years discovering their identity and evolving into the thriving band they are today. After a change in vocalist in 2015, adding Brian Wille to the group, Jeff Brown (drums), Chris Wiseman (guitar), Ryan Castaldi (guitar) and Dee Cronkite (bass) solidified their lineup with members who shared a common current of energy that moved through one another towards the same vision.
