BEA & HER BUSINESS

Bea & Her Business, the stage name of 19-year-old London singer-songwriter Bea Wheeler, is a powerful new voice in music known for her witty and brutally honest lyrics. Her debut single “Born To Be Alive,” released in May, quickly amassed over 10 million streams and millions of TikTok engagements, leading to a performance to tens of thousands at her first live show.

Since going viral in 2020, Bea has collaborated with artists like Oh Wonder and producers such as Eg White. Her storytelling, inspired by her own teenage experiences, vividly captures moments of teenage life. “All The Boys On Earth,” for example, reflects the common struggle of changing oneself for others’ acceptance.

Bea started writing songs at nine and was inspired by artists like Lily Allen. Her lyrics-first approach developed through extensive reading and drawing from personal experiences. Her breakthrough came with a viral TikTok cover of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness,” which opened doors to significant industry connections, leading to her debut single.

By March 2023, Bea had signed with Warner Music, and her debut single’s success cemented her place in the music scene. Bea values the deep connection her music fosters with listeners, aiming to convey her emotions in a way that resonates universally.
