At the intersection of rupture and resonance, this project brings classical string quartet music into dialogue with urban visual culture. Canonical compostions are presented alongside immersive projections inspired by street art and aesthetics. The performance moves beyond the traditional concert format and the social conventions often associated with classical music. By experimenting with this repertoire within an urban context, it demonstrates how different art forms can coexist and enrich one another, creating an experience that feels immediate, dynamic, and relevant to today.
This is the final creative project of the Master’s student in Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp.
