COLIN OF ARABIA (us)

Ever since arriving onto the scene in the ’00s, the Massachusetts-based outfit has delivered gnarly hardcore punk that has always been as confrontational as it’s been—dare I say it—effin’ catchy.

STREET POWER (us)

Boston hardcore’s proudest sons Street Power are gearing up to release My Time, the highly anticipated follow up to their first LP, 2023’s Threads of Hate. After some lineup changes and relentless touring around the States, the band has grown beyond their own expectations when they debuted with their first demo in late 2021. Street Power’s street-oriented lyrics were always backed by the massive charging riffs that kept them in line with the heaving Boston hardcore sound, influences such as early Blood For Blood come to mind but also Death Before Dishonor and New Jersey’s The Mongoloids. Now with the lineup changes, Street Power’s sound keeps the concrete-slabbed guitar riffage intact while trimming some of the fat and leaning further into Chris’ more punk-leaning influences.

IKHRAS (uk)

A hardcore punk band from London / Brighton with raging sonics exercising through the various styles the genre has to offer. The band’s latest offering, “Anwa3 Al-Mowt”, tackles subjects of loss, generational trauma, treachery, betrayal and revenge. Brighton and London anti-colonial hardcore that features vocals in a mix of Arabic and English, versing on resistance against illegal military occupations and Western exploitation through militarism dominance over other countries.
