Her work reclaims second-hand materials through knitting and crochet, transforming them into tactile expressions of trauma, care, and resistance. Engaging with themes of taboo, activism, and women’s rights, her recent practice centres on the Hurt Woman, a figure through which she explores the many forms of human suffering. She investigates grief, loss, and pain – physical, emotional, and psychological – and seeks to understand these experiences by translating them into art. Through this process, the Hurt Woman becomes both a mirror and a vessel, embodying the invisible weight carried by those who endure.
