FountainFest: The Festival of Femxle Pleasure is one-day a multidisciplinary festival dedicated to female pleasure. A vibrant day of workshops, talks, performances and art that will get you wet.
Each edition of FountainFest focuses on a sub-theme. Previously, this was: self-care. This second edition is an ode to SISTERHOOD!
WHY
Because we share experiences that no one else shares with us. Nevertheless, we are still taught to stand against each other, rather than together; to fear our differences, rather than celebrate them.
Because it is time to realize that we are not only responsible to care about ourselves, but also about each other. Because if we don’t take care of us, who will?
Because emancipation is never achieved by one, but always by all.
We invite you to immerse yourself in the joy of connection: with each other and with your own femininity (in whatever form!).

FountainFest is a project by three members of Sidewards: Anna Tejero, Isabella Arboleda and Ismini Slijper (a.k.a The ClitChicks).
Sidewards is an Antwerp (dance) collective consisting of 12 alumni of The Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Together they create dance productions and organise cultural events.
