The profound feeling of realizing that everyone who passes us by, a person in the distance, a dot in the crowd; has a life as complex as our own, one they are constantly living despite our personal obliviousness.
This expo offers tiny windows into other lives, other people; real or fantastical. Brian has captured snapshots of these characters and places, painted with impatient strokes, yet careful not to lose their fleeting image. He draws inspiration from fantasy, horror and intimate melancholy. In his works nothing is as it seems, there’s something more than meets the eye.
