Shailey Shah (1997, Belgium) is a multi-disciplinary artist, constantly learning and experimenting with new mediums, techniques, and their infinite possibilities. Her surroundings and experiences are a fundamental influence to her artistic practice and research. She explores social and political issues, feminism and specifically her own multi-cultural upbringing, being Indian but growing up in Belgium. She believes it’s important to reflect on our specific and personal experiences and narratives as a way of coming to know the world around us.
SKINS, is the name of her project, inventing a new language that plays with reality remoulded into fiction. Thus when you think of the word ‘Skins’ you don’t think of the body and specifically of a woman; she invents a new meaning to the word free from the body. She is interested in materiality and to use mediums in a non-traditional way. She likes to change and transform materials into something completely unique in her own language. These skins called Souled (cover picture) become their own forms, free to interpret on their own without prior opinions, they become the skins of the world transformed in another language where paint becomes its own material and then also a sculpture.

19u Demon Hides – exporuimte
Het muzikale alter-ego van Hidde Moens, dichter, zanger, gitarist en een man die zijn demonen maar niet kan afzweren en daarom besluit hen te bezweren.Met invloeden van onder meer Nick Drake, Mac Demarco en Sparklehorse, maar ook van Phoebe Bridgers, Nico en een platenkast vol jazz kan je je verwachten aan een muzikale, poëtische ontdekking en openbaring. Misschien zelfs een séance, als de sfeer goed zit.
19u30 Berang – exporuimte
Berang brengt folksongs met een nostalgische ondertoon. Regelmatig akoestisch en klein, soms ook elektrisch en lawaaierig. Bij momenten droevig maar altijd hoopvol.
Geïnspireerd door Elliott Smith, Courtney Barnett en Frank Turner. Gerealiseerd door zes snaren, een dictafoon en waarschijnlijk te veel cafeïne.Zijn Debuutalbum ‘Eternal Friend’ is sinds 27/1/’23 overal te beluisteren!
