Deep trap beats, humorous skits, catchy vocal lines, and raps with little street cred—Lil Alia presents: fluffy trap. She delivers an entertaining fusion of hip-hop, pop, and comedy. Her music draws inspiration from a variety of artists, including De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, Lil Dicky, Froukje, and Merol. The sweet-voiced Antwerp-based Lil Alia, real name Linde Notenbaert, has taken her self-invented genre, fluffy trap, to the next level by embracing an atypical softness. Her humorous skits—featured in her live shows, music videos, and EP—are interwoven with deep vulnerability and melancholy, making her a unique female voice in the hip-hop scene. Linde collaborates with her older brother and producer, Sander Notenbaert, a.k.a. DJ Flexwerk.
Lil Alia has opened for artists such as Brihang, Lander & Adriaan, Bluai, Bombataz, and Puntjudith. In February 2023, she won the Maanrockrally, and since September 2023, she has been an artist-in-residence at Trix in Antwerp.
On April 12, 2024, she released her debut EP, Fristi In De Moshpit, and played her EP release show at Trix.
