Heavy Rock from Stockholm.
Lucifer is defined by their very heavy 70s Hard Rock sound spiced with a good dose of Proto, Heavy Metal and Doom Rock. Main influences are bands such as Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Blue Öyster Cult, Lucifer’s Friend, Steppenwolf, 70’s Heart and Fleetwood Mac.
The group was founded in Berlin in 2014 by front woman Johanna Sadonis and consisted for the first time from members of Cathedral, Angel Witch and Ladytron. The first Single ‘Anubis’ and debut album ‘Lucifer I’ written by Sadonis and Cathedral’s Garry Jennings Records brought Lucifer international recognition.
With a formation shift within the band in 2016 and Johanna Sadonis’ move from Berlin to Stockholm, Lucifer was ready for Chapter Two. In Nicke Andersson, from The Hellacopters, Entombed, Imperial State Electric, Death Breath, among others, Sadonis found a new renowned writing partner. Together they wrote Lucifer’s second album ‘Lucifer II’ and produced it at Nick’s studio The Honk Palace in Stockholm in the summer of 2017.
Lucifer will tour in 2022 to present their new album Lucifer 3
Special guests: Year Of The Goat
Year Of The Goat can be seen as the typical ‘occult rock’ band: the music of Sweden can be described as a mix of 60s psych rock, 70s hard rock and 80s heavy metal, wrapped in a devilish jacket. Metal inspired by the flower power era, promoted in such a way that the sun-despising black metal fan takes it as sweet cake.
