Kom meedoen en deel jouw muziek en talent met een speciaal publiek
Voor elke editie worden er 3 speciale acts geboekt en gekozen door onze fijne oren om hun persoonlijke teksten en muziek met jou te delen.
Tussen/na de geboekte acts, is het podium open voor iedereen!
We willen zoveel mogelijk mensen ruimte geven, dus houd er rekening mee dat:
1) ‘First come, first served!’ – inschrijvingen voor de open mic openen om 19u30. We hebben een totaal van 12 slots voor open mic’ers, dus kom op tijd als je zeker een spot wil!
2) De eerste 8 ingeschreven open mic’ers mogen tot 2 nummers spelen, voor een tijdslot van een 7-8tal minuten. Mensen die zich later inschrijven mogen 1 nummer spelen (3,5 minuten).
Wees je daarvan bewust en respecteer ieders tijd.
Re-interpretaties van nummers van anderen (laten we de term ‘covers’ niet gebruiken!) worden geaccepteerd, maar we raden je ten zeerste aan om jouw eigen materiaal te delen! Mara Moja is hier om jouw talent te ondersteunen.

BOOKED ACTS:
ROCA ROCA
Roca Roca is a Belgian/ Bolivian singer-songwriter and producer. Drawn to music from an early age, she followed her passion and became an established sound engineer in the Belgian landscape before taking a step towards making her own music.
Her indie rock style is influenced by Brit pop and electro sounds from the 90s and 00s, where she finds inspiration in artists as Radiohead, Amy Winehouse, Florence and the machine etc.
Her Latin heritage plays a big role when composing as well.

But the wait is over! Saving Nico is singer-songwriter Nicolas Anné’s first ever solo-project. Intimate indie folk, earthy and pure of heart, in which Nicolas views himself from the universes perspective. Or is it the other way around? Seeking reconciliation with big questions and small concerns.
Looking forward to this undoubtedly amazing set hoping to find some answers to the questions of the universe !
ARTHUR
Arthur has been making music for as long as he can remember and recently he also started singing and writing. He brings his own songs, usually with a melancholic touch. He accompanies himself with the piano. He hasn’t shared any of his music yet but he is looking forward to bring his solo set live at Mara Moja Music Open Mic!!
