MISS MAY I
Ohio metalcore veterans Miss May I, formed in Troy in 2007, have been delivering their signature blend of melodic death metal and thrash-infused hardcore for nearly two decades. The band recently signed to Solid State Records in July 2024 and has been working on new material throughout 2025. They released the single “Pray For Silence” in August 2025 from their upcoming eighth studio album set for release in 2026, marking an exciting new chapter for the band. With seven studio albums under their belt and recent lineup changes that brought guitarist Elisha Mullins into the fold, Miss May I continues to prove why they remain one of metalcore’s most enduring and influential acts, having toured with everyone from Lamb of God to Killswitch Engage throughout their career.
CRYSTAL LAKE
Tokyo-based metalcore powerhouse Crystal Lake, formed in 2002, has become one of Japan’s most celebrated heavy music exports. The band signed with Century Media Records in 2024 and will release their highly anticipated seventh studio album, “The Weight of Sound,” on January 23, 2026. The album features an impressive lineup of guest vocalists including Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage, David Simonich of Signs of the Swarm, and Karl Schubach formerly of Misery Signals. Current vocalist John Robert Centorrino joined the band in March 2023, replacing longtime vocalist Ryo Kinoshita, bringing fresh energy to a group that has spent over two decades blending hardcore aggression with infectious melodies and pushing the boundaries of the metalcore genre on stages across the globe.
GREAT AMERICAN GHOST
New Hampshire metalcore bruisers Great American Ghost have been one of the most exciting forces in the genre since their explosive arrival in 2012. The band released their fourth full-length album “Tragedy Of The Commons” on January 31, 2025 via SharpTone Records, an unapologetically political record that tackles themes of economic exploitation and societal collapse. Produced by legendary producer Will Putney, the album marks a new era for the quartet with fresh blood in the lineup contributing to the songwriting process. Having toured alongside The Ghost Inside, Alpha Wolf, and Fit For A King, the band has built a fierce reputation as one of heavy music’s most relentless live acts, delivering punishing breakdowns and raw underground energy that bridges the gap between metallic hardcore and modern metalcore brutality.
DIESECT
Brisbane-based nu-metalcore outfit DIESECT, formed in 2021, has rapidly ascended from local upstarts to national contenders in the Australian heavy music scene. The four-piece joined the prestigious Greyscale Records roster in early 2025, entering the company of Alpha Wolf, Make Them Suffer, and Diamond Construct. The band released their EP “Hide From The Light” on May 30, 2025, which explores a narrative centered around the descent into darkness following the loss of hope. Having garnered over 2 million streams and toured with the likes of Fit For A King, ERRA, Silent Planet, August Burns Red, and While She Sleeps, DIESECT fearlessly navigates turbulent realms of both internal struggles and external chaos, delivering aggressive, chaotic soundscapes that refuse to sugarcoat the complexities of modern life.
