East-Flanders based Turpentine Valley reduces its post-metal to purity, ‘etching’ it to the soul of anyone open to it. No words, massive sound. Hitting it hard. Layered guitars. Growling bass. Allowing music to tell its story: slow, intense, hard and relentless.
Although its members already play together for more than half a lifetime, Turpentine Valley still could be called a rather young band, only seeing the light in 2016. Releasing its debut album ‘Etch’ through Dunk!records on November 1st 2019 is the next step in spreading its instrumental post-metal ever since.

Resident at Vloer1 (Stelplaats Leuven) and member of the Dishwash 洗碗 collective the band known as “Belomorkanal” has been leading a rather turbulant existence since they established themselves in 2016. Known for overwhelming live performances, this 3 piece band from Leuven has often been related to genres such as: noise rock, post-rock, post-metal, progressive rock and classical. While these guys aren’t quick to label their work, the audience can most certainly expect a lot of raw high energy riffs interlaced with bits of gentle melancholia in extensive, dynamic progressions.
Due to circumstances they have designated Weiyan Low as their session drummer for the time being while continuing to work on their debut album with Wouter Van Belle at Powertone Studio.

ஜ JUNEAU ஜ
Juneau another instrumental newcomer in the Belgian post-metal pool was formed in 2019. Their often dark and heavy charged music blends a range of styles, most prominently post-rock and metal influenced with hints of atmospheric black metal. Their first EP was recorded late 2019 in Larsson Studio (BE) and was released on January 5 of this year.
